Matebeleland North Provincial CookOut Competitions

The Matebeleland North Province Cookout has gained momentum as participants  prepared numerous scrumptious local dishes  and started showcasing for judges to grade. On the sidelines the atmosphere is full of pomp and fanfare, elated energy packed attendees are already dancing and chanting along to local and regional genre of popular music being played by the DJ. Preparations began well before dawn at Lupane State University.

Dignitaries which include the Guest of Honour the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Hon Barbara Rwodzi, Environment, Climate and Wildlife Minister Hon Sithembiso Nyoni, Minister of State for Matabeleland North Province Hon Richard Moyo, Deputy Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities Hon Musa Ncube have just completed touring the contestants food stands while tasting and being given a brief by each contestant on their offerings.
