FRAUDULENT JOB RECRUITMENT NOTICES CIRCULATING ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) warns the public of a fraudulent job recruitment notice circulating on WhatsApp, Facebook, and social media, falsely using ZTA’s seal and branding. It advertises April 2026 positions at “Royal Safari Lodge / Royal Zambezi Lodge (Victoria Falls Zimbabwe Branch)” like hospitality staff, chefs, and drivers, directing applicants to a suspicious email, WhatsApp, and a Lusaka address. ZTA fully disassociates itself, confirming it did not authorize use of its name/logo, is not a recruitment agency, and has not verified the entity’s legitimacy. Treat this as a scam.
