Induction workshop for the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Tourism in Mutare.

Today, the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, in collaboration with its agencies—the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority and the Mosi Oa Tunya Development Company—is proudly hosting an induction workshop for the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Tourism in Mutare, Manicaland Province.
The primary aim of the workshop is for the Portfolio Committee to have an understanding of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry, including an in-depth exploration of its mandate, regulatory framework, and strategic alignment with President’s Vision 2030, the National Development Strategy 1, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
By fostering such collaboration and understanding, we aim to enhance the growth and sustainability of Zimbabwe’s tourism sector, ensuring it becomes a key driver of economic development and cultural exchange.
