Service excellence is crucial in building a vibrant tourism sector, as it ensures visitors enjoy memorable experiences and high-quality services. In pursuit of this, the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry and the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority are in Gweru conducting a Service Excellence, Standards, and Grading training workshop for Midlands Province tourism players. This refresher training not only prepares the province for the upcoming Independence celebrations in Nembudziya but also aims to enhance service delivery in line with international best practices. Similar workshops will be extended to Mashonaland West, Kadoma, and Chegutu due to their proximity to the 2025 Independence venue, reinforcing the commitment to raising standards and promoting a culture of excellence across the tourism sector.
