Rainbow Tourism Group and Grand Metropolitan Hotel Partnership
On the sidelines of the World Travel Market Africa 2024, the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Hon Barbara Rwodzi officiated at the launch of a strategic partnership between Rainbow Tourism Group and Grand Metropolitan Hotel, a Swiss based company tonight in Capetown.
The two giants unveiled the plans to jointly establish and manage an international Hospitality School in Harare. Minister Rwodzi applauded the partnership as it is in line with the vision of His Excellency The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa of bridging the gap between knowledge and skills through education 5.0.
The Minister also said that the Hospitality School will complement the upcoming Culinary School earmarked for Victoria Falls, another milestone in the Tourism sector as it will enhance the country’s thrust to promote Gastronomy Tourism in Africa.
