The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority is participating at the Infrastructure Summit

The Infrastructure Summit is a high-level dialogue platform that seek ways of putting into practice known and novel ways of dealing with the country’s protracted infrastructure bottlenecks to catapult the nation into the Upper Middle-Income Economy envisaged in Vision 2030. The summit is running under the theme, “Accelerating Transport Infrastructure Development Projects in Zimbabwe: Towards World Class Transport Networks by 2030”.

ZTA Chief Executive, Ms Winnie Muchanyuka, is on a panel discussion for Transport Infrastructure Development Projects Dynamics in Zimbabwe. Transport infrastructure development is widely considered to be the core infrastructure required for economic growth as it can directly support production and manufacturing activities in an economy. Transport is a key pillar in tourism development as it helps in tourism product connectivity.

ZTA’s participation in the summit is important because it highlights the need to develop the transport infrastructure for ease on destination accessibility.
