The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority is encouraging residents to know more about places of interest around their areas. Every province in Zimbabwe is home to places of interest. Did you know that Mashonaland East offers plenty of attractions and activities which includes Imire game Park? Close to Marondera. Activities available at Imire include game drives, nature walks with elephants and Rhino sightings.Other attractions not to miss in this province are Tsindi Ruins, Gosho game park, Twala Animal Sanctuary and Bernard Mizeki Shrine. Activities you can do include hiking and game drives and they cost between $5 and $15 USD.
Have an appreciation of the Mutemwa Leprosy Centre and Chigona Mountain are places of interest in Mutoko. This mountain is considered a sacred place of worship with a rich history of mysterious happenings, miracles and exhilarating spiritual experiences. It is here where thousands spend the night every 4th day of September, communicating with a divine spirit they believe is roaming around its environs. Accommodation facilities around the Mountain include Nyamakwere Lodge, Mutoko Inn , Kizingo Cottages and Chibanguza Hotel. Prices for these facilities range between $30 to $50 per person.
