The Tourism Ministry through ZimParks went into partnership with the Airports Company of Zimbabwe and a youth owned private company, Mobi Tech Smith Zimbabwe. This project aligns perfectly with the mainstreaming agenda of the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS 1 2021 – 2025).
Importantly, the initiative is in line with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation’s (UNWTO) thrust that is promoting accessible tourism initiatives for all. The UNWTO is devoted to the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism geared towards the achievement of the Universal 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
