On March 11, 2025, in Harare, the website and mobile app for Expo 2025 Osaka were launched, a key step in preparations for the event from April 13 to October 13, 2025. Dr. Takaruza Munyanyiwa, Secretary for Tourism and Hospitality Industry, welcomed delegates and emphasized the expo’s role in fostering international connections. Zimbabwe Pavilion Commissioner General, Mr. Allan Majuru, discussed the expo’s potential for collaboration and innovation.
Guest of Honor Ambassador A.R. Chimbindi, Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, urged participation for economic growth and cultural exchange. The expo’s theme, “Beyond the Limits,” will showcase groundbreaking ideas and technologies addressing societal challenges, with a focus on sustainability, smart cities, and healthcare innovation.
