Zimbabwe is participating at the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), from the 6th to 8th of June 2024. The Zimbabwe delegation is being led by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Commrade E.D Mnangagwa. His Excellency the President is expected to meet his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin during the event. Tourism is part of the main delegation and is being led by The Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Honourable B. Rwodzi. The major thrust of the Forum is to navigate efforts to overcome obstacles in economic development, as well as to forge constructive and mutually beneficial business partnerships. Zimbabwe seeks to take advantage of the opportunities that will arise in the areas of socio-economic development, tourism, health care, industry development and growth, construction, education and science.
