Did you know Bumbusi National Monument is a little-known historical site located close to Hwange in Matabeleland North. The site comprises of historical ruins and unique rock shelters. Bumbusi is important to the Nambya people a tribe which resides in these parts. Some of the interesting things to see at Bumbusi cave include rock engravings of animal spoors and paintings depicting the way of life of the people who lived there long ago. To have a full appreciation of this site you can book and sleep over at Bumbusi Wilderness camp. Other accommodation options include camping which ranges from 10 usd per night per person and self-catering lodges which ranges from 50 usd per night for a 2 bed lodge for 4 people.
