Promoting Destination Zimbabwe and Strengthening Regional Tourism Cooperation at Africa Travel Indaba 2026

The Africa Travel Indaba 2026, currently underway in Durban, South Africa, from 11–14 May 2026, continues to provide Zimbabwe with a strategic platform to market Destination Zimbabwe to the world, as Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Hon. Tongai Mafidi Mnangagwa joined fellow African Tourism Ministers and Deputy Ministers at the prestigious Ministers Dinner hosted by South Africa’s Minister of Tourism, Patricia de Lille. With a delegation of 44 Tourism Operators, Zimbabwe is showcasing its rich Tourism offerings and strengthening Regional Tourism cooperation at a global travel fair that has attracted 999 buyers from 44 countries, 1225 exhibitors and 18 airlines. The Indaba presents immense opportunities for Zimbabwean operators to secure business deals, attract investment and expand market access while promoting the country’s iconic attractions including Victoria Falls, Eastern Highlands, Hwange National Park and Great Zimbabwe, as Zimbabwe continues to shine as a competitive and attractive Tourism destination driving Africa’s Tourism growth story forward. #AfricaTravelIndaba
