Digitalisation for Tourism Growth was the key focus at the ongoing Africa Travel Indaba 2026 in Durban where the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Hon Tongai Mnangagwa, joined fellow African Tourism Ministers in an engagement on transforming Africa’s Tourism sector through Innovation, Smart Technologies and seamless Travel Systems. Hon Mnangagwa emphasized that the future of African tourism lies in digital connectivity, efficient border management and enhanced Tourist experiences, highlighting Zimbabwe’s strides in Tourism modernisation through the Online Border Management System, E-visas and E-gates at major ports of entry.
